Based on the Afrikaans TV series by the same name, this comedy comes to the big screen. The plot-line is rather convoluted as befits a farce, and sees the main characters get themselves into serious troubles before everything works out like it is supposed to.

Molly en Wors is a situation comedy (sitcom) that was broadcast on kykNET from 2009 to 2011. The program revolves around the dysfunctional Visagie family who live in a luxurious Tuscan Villa within Johannesburg. The family members consist of Wors, Molly, Vaatjie and Blapsie. The underlying humor lies in irony, the exposure of double standards, allusion, as well as the "parvenu" that comes out.

Molly and Wors are in marriage counseling because they suffer from empty nest syndrome. Their quiet Christmas suddenly turns into chaos when their children unexpectedly arrive.

Raised in the wings of the theatre, it is perhaps no surprise that Molly Johnson was destined to become one of Canada’s greatest voices.

Two viewer favorites, Orkney Snork Nie and Molly en Wors, are brought together wittily and with great compassion. The result is a truly Afrikaans red wine series.

A 12 year old girl goes to a boarding school in France after her parents split up. Upset by this situation, and still hoping her parents will get back together, she runs away from the school to search for her father, who is a musician travelling through eastern Europe. She catches up with him in Poland, and tries to convince him to reconcile with his wife. When this does not look like it will happen, she runs away again, this time to locate her mother and try to convince her of the same thing. Along the way she has many adventures.
